Virginia State Police continue morn the loss of two of their own -- one of them from Prince William County.
The two troopers were killed Saturday after a police helicopter they were in crashed on a farm outside Charlottesville. The troopers were monitoring the fatal protest in the city where one woman was killed and several others injured during a white nationalist march.
Lieutenant H. Jay Cullen, and Trooper-Pilot Berke M.M. Bates, of Prince William County, are remembered today in a press release from Virginia State Police:
