Debra Seitz received a Length of Service Award for 50 years of civilian service during the Civilian Quarterly Awards at The Clubs at Quantico on Oct. 15, Marine Corps Base Quantico said.
“This base has been my second home; it’s been my life,” Seitz said. “I’ve been here since I was a kid, and now here I am working 50 years later.”
Seitz, now director of Management Information Systems for Marine Corps Community Services Quantico, started in 1976 as a salesclerk at the Marine Corps Exchange. She leads a team that supports point-of-sale systems for retail, the exchange, the clubs and recreation activities on base.
