Historic Downtown Manassas has a new retail destination. Gathered on Center, a co-op at 9082 Center Street, brings together multiple creative small businesses under one roof.
The shop is led by entrepreneurs Terri Johnson, Becci Clark, Karrisa Knight, and Alexandra Striemer. Shoppers will find an evolving mix of locally curated goods, gifts, and experiences. Among the offerings is permanent jewelry from Striemer’s Bejeweled Era.
The opening also highlights the collaborative culture of the independent business community in Historic Downtown. When Black Metal Mercantile expanded into a larger neighboring storefront, owner Deron Blevins worked closely with the Gathered team to help them get established in Black Metal Mercantile’s former space. It is another example of established Downtown businesses supporting new concepts and contributing to the district’s continued evolution.
Gathered on Center adds another distinctive stop to a Downtown that has a track record of attracting highly localized retail concepts—and an economy that supports entrepreneurs willing to try something different.
