Armed Robbery in Manassas Shopping Center

A 59-year-old man was the victim of an armed robbery on December 24 in Manassas. The incident occurred in a shopping center parking lot near Balls Ford Rd and Stream Walk Ln. The victim was approached by two men and a woman, one of whom was armed with a handgun and knife. They forced him into his vehicle, assaulted him, and stole his wallet before fleeing. The suspects are described as two Hispanic men in their early 20s and a Hispanic woman in her late teens. The victim sustained minor injuries.

In a separate incident, a commercial burglary was reported at the Luxury Gold & Diamond kiosk inside Potomac Mills in Woodbridge. Jewelry was stolen overnight on December 20, but no suspect information is available.

Additionally, vandalism was reported on December 25 at the Express VRE parking garage in Woodbridge, where a swastika and other symbols were spray-painted on pillars. No suspects have been identified.

In another case, a Bristow resident was arrested on December 23 for production of child pornography. The arrest followed a search warrant executed by Prince William County detectives as part of an ongoing investigation.

Armed Robbery – On December 24 at 1:16PM, officers responded to the area of Balls Ford Rd and Stream Walk Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 59-year-old man, was confronted by two unknown men and one unknown woman while in the parking lot of a shopping center in the above area. One of the men was armed with a handgun and knife, forcing the victim into his vehicle where the victim was then assaulted and had his wallet taken. All parties dispersed prior to officers arriving on scene. The victim reported the incident a short time later. Minor injuries were reported. The suspects were only described as two Hispanic men in their early 20s and one Hispanic female in her late teens.

Commercial Burglary – On December 20 at 4:57PM, officers responded to the Luxury Gold & Diamond kiosk inside Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed sometime overnight, several pieces of jewelry had been taken from the cabinets. No suspect(s) information was provided.

Vandalism – On December 25 at 6:13PM, officers responded to the Express VRE parking garage located at 1040 Express Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a vandalism. The investigation revealed a swastika and other symbols had been spray painted on support pillars in the garage. No suspect(s) information was provided.

Production of Child Pornography – On December 23, Prince William County detectives as part of the DC/Northern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at a home located in the 11900 block of Benton Lake Rd in Bristow (20136) in connection to an ongoing child pornography investigation. During the execution of the search warrant, a resident of the home and target of the investigation, identified as the accused, was detained without incident. Additional evidence was also seized from the residence. The investigation revealed the accused had been soliciting underaged minors online for inappropriate acts. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Bryan BARAHONA-PERAZA, was arrested.
