Abduction and Sex Trafficking Arrest in Woodbridge

A suspect was arrested in connection with a sex trafficking case at the Springhill Suites in Woodbridge. The investigation revealed that a 39-year-old woman was being trafficked by the accused, a 42-year-old man from Hampton. The arrest was made by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force.

In another incident, a 32-year-old man from Manassas was arrested for a commercial burglary at the Taste of India restaurant in Gainesville. The burglary occurred on April 20, and the suspect was apprehended on December 15.

Additionally, a strong-arm robbery took place at a 7-Eleven in Dumfries. An unknown man forcibly took money from the register and fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

Felony Destruction of Property *ARREST – On December 12, detectives charged a suspect in connection to two incidents that were reported to have occurred in the Bristow (20136) area of Prince William County on December 7 and 8. The suspect, identified as Avery Keith RUSHING, was arrested in Fairfax County on December 12.

Attempted Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On December 8 at 10:53AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10000 block of Orland Stone Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed sometime around 11:00AM, entry was attempted into the home through the front door which was damaged. No entry was made into the residence, and no property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On December 7 at 11:19AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10100 block of Pale Rose Lp in Bristow (20136) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed an unknown man attempted to enter the home through the front door which was damaged. No entry was made into the residence, and no property was reported missing. The suspect arrived and left the scene in a dark-colored SUV.

Commercial Burglary *ARREST – On December 15, officers arrested a suspect, identified as Henry Joeboni VELASQUEZ, who was determined to be involved in a burglary that was reported to have occurred at the Taste of India restaurant located at 14706 Lee Hwy. in Gainesville (20155) on April 20.

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On April 20 at 9:45AM, officers responded to the Taste of India restaurant located at 14706 Lee Hwy. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed sometime overnight entry was made into the business through an unsecured door. An undisclosed amount of money and bottles of wine were reported missing.

Strong-Arm Robbery – On December 16 at 12:51AM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 16806 Richmond Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown man approached the counter to make a purchase. When the employee opened the register, the man reached over the counter and forcibly took an undisclosed amount of money before walking out of the business. No injuries were reported. The suspect was last seen getting into a vehicle and leaving the area.

Residential Burglary – On December 14 at 3:13PM, officers responded to the Summertree Condos located in the 7500 block of Margate Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed sometime between December 9 and 14, entry was made into one of the residences, possibly through the front door that was found unsecured. Jewelry was reported missing.

Abduction | Commercial Sex Trafficking – On December 16, a suspect was arrested in connection to sex trafficking stemming from an ongoing investigation at the Springhill Suites located at 14325 Crossing Pl in Woodbridge (22192) on December 2. During the investigation, officers located the victim, a 39-year-old woman, who was reportedly being trafficked at the hotel by the accused, identified as Trinell Lorenzo BOWEN. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused, who was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force in the City of Hampton on December 16.
