Potomac Local News will bring the magic of the 2025 Fredericksburg Christmas Parade straight to viewers at home with a live stream from downtown on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
The parade, held rain or shine, will step off at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Fredericksburg. This year’s theme is “Around the World.”
Potomac Local founder and publisher Uriah Kiser will co-host the coverage with Kelly Sienkowski, known to readers and viewers for her reporting on PotomacLocal.com and appearances on our YouTube channel.
The broadcast will originate from the corner of Princess Anne and Amelia streets, from the grounds of Norton Pelt Law, which has volunteered space — and even built a platform — for the live stream.
Viewers can watch the parade live on the Potomac Local News YouTube channel and on our website at PotomacLocal.com.
Street closures and parking
City officials say drivers heading downtown for the Fredericksburg Christmas Parade should plan ahead for road closures and towing.
- Side streets in the downtown area will begin closing at 2 p.m.
- All downtown streets along the parade route are expected to be closed by about 3:30 p.m.
- Vehicles parked in posted no-parking zones are subject to towing, the city warns.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early, obey posted signs, and allow extra time to find parking.
Whether you plan to bundle up along the parade route or stay warm at home, Potomac Local News will have the lights, bands, floats, and holiday fun from downtown Fredericksburg covered live.
