
A major house fire broke out early Saturday morning in Lake Ridge, displacing seven people but causing no injuries.
Fire crews were called to the 19200 block of Luca Station Way, near Old Bridge Elementary School, at 2:44 a.m. and found heavy flames emanating from the garage, which were spreading into the home. All residents had safely evacuated before firefighters arrived. A second alarm was briefly issued due to the fire’s intensity and reports that someone might still be inside, but those units were quickly returned to service.
The home was heavily damaged and deemed unsafe to occupy. The Red Cross is assisting six adults and one child who were displaced. Investigators are still working to determine the cause.

Saturday, November 15, 2025Earlier this morning units were dispatched to the 19200 blk of Luca Station Drive (Woodbridge) for reports of a house fire. Crews arrived with heavy fire showing and the fire quickly spreading from the attached garage into the home. All occupants had safely evacuated from the home. A second alarm was initially requested due to the fire volume and a report of someone still in the home. The second alarm units were quickly placed in service.
No injuries were reported. The structure sustained extensive damage. The structure was declared unsafe to occupy by the Building Official. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced 6 adults and 1 child. The Fire Marshal’s Office is on the scene determining the cause of the fire.
