
A suspect was arrested for malicious wounding related to an assault at MVP Bar & Grill in Gainesville. The altercation, which occurred in July, involved multiple patrons and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries.
Additionally, a death investigation is underway in Triangle after a house fire led to the discovery of a deceased man. No foul play is suspected, and the fire’s cause is being investigated.
There were also two separate incidents of brandishing a firearm, one in Woodbridge during a road rage incident and another in Manassas involving a customer dispute at a business.

Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On November 6, one of the suspects, later identified as Fahib KEITA, who was determined to be involved in the assault that was reported to have occurred at the MVP Bar & Grill located at 7518 Old Linton Hall Rd in Gainesville (20155) on July 26, was arrested.

Court Date: Pending | Bond: UnavailableStrong-Arm Robbery | Assault by Mob [Previously Released] – On July 26 at 7:49PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at MVP Bar & Grill located at 7518 Old Linton Hall Rd. in Gainesville (20155) earlier that morning at approximately 2:00AM. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old man, and other patrons were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. The altercation continued to the parking lot where the victim and a 22-year-old male acquaintance of the victim were both assaulted. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and phone before leaving the area. Both victims reported non-life threatening injuries. The suspects were not located. One of the suspects was described as a black male, between 30-35 years old, about 5’7” with a beard, short twist hair, and possibly wearing a Lakers jersey.
Death Investigation – On November 9 at 7:14PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18500 block of Triangle St in Triangle (22172) to assist the Department of Fire & Rescue with a house fire. During the incident, an adult man believed to be a resident of the home was located deceased inside the residence. Preliminarily, there were no signs of foul play. The cause and manner of death is pending by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office. More information regarding the investigation will be released if deemed necessary.
Brandishing of a Firearm – On November 9 at 11:20AM, officers responded to the area of Old Bridge Rd & Harbor Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a road rage incident. The investigation revealed the victim, a 38-year-old man, was driving in the above area when he encountered the driver of another vehicle described as a black Honda Civic 4-door sedan. At one point during the encounter, a passenger in the vehicle brandished a firearm before the parties separated, and the other vehicle drove away. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. No suspect description was provided to police.
Brandishing of a Firearm – On November 9 at 12:38PM, officers responded to Automotive 247 located at 7600 Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed a customer, identified as the accused, got into a verbal altercation with an employee of the business. During the encounter, a knife was displayed before the accused retrieved a firearm. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Quentin Lee NGOBEH, was arrested.
