A new Cook Out restaurant opened on Friday, November 4, in Manassas Park.
City leaders attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new restaurant.
The fast-food restaurant is known for its backyard grilled fare, such as burgers, hot dogs, barbeque, chicken, and milkshakes. It’s also one of the few restaurants with Cheerwine fountain soda, a popular cherry-flavored drink.
“The moment that we’ve been waiting for. Manassas Park, Va. is open,” the company posted to Twitter.
The Manassas Park location is the first in the region and joins other nearby locations in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County.
The new Manassas Park sits on Route 28 near Manassas Drive, near a Sheetz gas station. The newly-built restaurant replaces an old Hardees.
