Edna Mae Long passed away on June 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed of 58 years and their son; Greg, her parents; Lonnie and Della Copper, her sisters; Lucille and Pearl and her brother Andy. Mae is survived by her twin sister; Betty Jo Payne, her daughters; LuAnn and Andrea, son, Jeff and his spouse Kathy, daughter in law, Patty, grandsons, Bill, Brent, Steven, Trevor and many extended family members. Mae is also survived by her dear cousin, Bonna, dearest friends, Ginger, Dorothy, Pat and Bonnie. She also leaves behind her cherished dog Rico.
Mae worked for the Department of Defense for 54 years. She loved to cook for her family! We will miss her fudge, pumpkin rolls, fried chicken and everything her sweet little hands cooked in her little kitchen. She loved working crossword puzzles with Betty Jo her twin. Mae’s greatest love was her family. We love you Momma Mae.
Burial Services at Quantico National Cemetery for Ed and Edna Mae Long will held at a later date.
