Prince William police said a man was driving while under the influence of alcohol. a 2-month-old child was also found inside his car, police said.

Felony Child Neglect – On October 17th at 11:45AM, officers responded to the area of Signal Hill Rd and Janet Rose Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a hit and run. The caller reported to police that she was involved in an accident in the above area with a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene. The caller was able to provided vehicle information. A short time later, an officer located the suspect vehicle pulling into a nearby shopping center. After pulling the vehicle over, the officer determined that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. Further investigation found the vehicle to be occupied by a 2 month old girl. The driver was subsequently arrested without incident.
