Two bow hunters made a creepy find in North Stafford.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of Mine Road and Highpointe Boulevard in Stafford County at 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of a human skull found. Other human bones were also found nearby, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
The remains will be sent to a medical examiners office for further review following an initial investigation by he sheriff’s office.
“It was clear that the remains had been there for a long period of time,” stated Kennedy in an email.
Two bow hunters were practicing their skills when they stumbled upon the remains in a wooded area.
