An 11-year-old boy died in a dirt bike accident on Sunday.
Crash – Fatality – On October 11th at 1:27PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 8400 block of Cabin Branch Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a crash involving a dirt bike.
The investigation revealed that the victim, identified as an 11 year old boy, was riding a 2007 CR85 Honda dirt bike with two other acquaintances on private property along a dirt track in the wooded area above. At one point, the victim lost control and struck a tree. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died a short time later as a result of injuries.
The victim was wearing a helmet at the time at the time of the incident.
