Hurley dies of self-inflicted gunshot wound

Bill Hurley, former Prince William County police officer and father of PGA golfing star Bill Hurley Jr., has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

Hurley made headlines last month after disappearing during the Quicken Loans National gold tournament at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, in Prince William. Hurley’s son was a participant in the tournament.
