Man charged with armed robbery in Manassas

On Saturday afternoon, Prince William police responded to a call on Rolling Road in Manassas in relation to a robbery.

According to a Prince William police release, the victim – a 19-year old Manassas man – said that he had met with the suspect, 19-year old Manassas man Justice Edward Ansah, to conduct a narcotics transaction.

During this exchange, Ansah and other individuals attacked the victim before taking his money and property, according to a Prince William police release. The suspect and the other assailants then fled the scene.

No injuries were reported, said a Prince William police release.

After conducting their investigation, Prince William police located and arrested Ansah. He is being charged with robbery, conspiracy to a commit a felony-robbery and assault by mob.

Ansah is being held without bond.
