Dixon-Smith Middle School in Stafford County held a fundraiser to raise money for needed technology.
Students were asked to sell as many desserts as possible. As an incentive to sell more desserts, a “Pie in Your Face” event was held.
A total of 20 teachers volunteered to have a pie thrown in their face.
Students who sold at least one dessert were invited to watch. The students who sold the most desserts were chosen to be pie throwers.
The fundraiser raised $2,000. This money will be used to purchase needed technology at Dixon-Smith Middle School.
