Smoke, Heat Damage Woodbridge House

On Friday, November 14th, at approximately 5:30 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a two-story single family home located in the 14000 block of Grayson Road in Woodbridge.

Upon arrival, fire and rescue crews entered the home and discovered a fire in a first floor bedroom. Firefighters proceeded to attack and extinguish the fire as they searched for further extension of fire; no further extension was found; however, smoke and heat damage was discovered throughout the first and second floor.

No injuries reported.
The occupants, 3 adults, who were home at the time of the fire, were alerted to the fire by a smoke detector allowing them to safely evacuate the home.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
