WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A Cardinal Bank at 13870 Smoketown Road was robbed of cash this afternoon.
The robbery occurred just before 3 p.m. when a man entered the bank and demanded money. He then fled in a Honda CRV SUV. No one was injured and no one saw a weapon used in the robbery, police said.
The man was described as white, 25 to 35-years-old, and is said to be tall. He was wearing a dark jacket, jeans, blue cap, and sunglasses.
Witnesses tell Potomac Local News police have swarmed the area around the bank, which sits near Prince William Parkway.
