MANASSAS,Va,– Woman struck in the head with a metal pipe when man robbed store.

On October 19th at 3:07AM, police responded to the 7-11 located at 12125 Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a robbery.
An employee, a 54 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and approached her.
The man struck the victim to her head with a metal pipe and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing on foot.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Male, unknown race, between 23 & 27 years of age, 6’0”-6’5”, 175-200lbs with a medium build
Last seen wearing camouflage hooded jacket, gray pants, black & white shoes, and black mask
