Carol Joyce Davis, 83, of Stafford County, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013, at Stafford Hospital.
Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She was very active in her church working in the food bank, helping with funeral luncheons and doing grounds maintenance.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Preston Llewelyn Davis; children Suzanne Davis Wilson, Mark S. Davis, Timothy P. Davis, Rosemary C. Davis, Patrick J. Davis and Princess Rohrback; and grandchildren Eric Hastings, Leslie Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Paul Wilson, Luke Wilson, William Davis and Maxwell Davis. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Ellen Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Food Bank, 1201 Courthouse Rd., Stafford, VA 22554.
