WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Two Woodbridge residents face charges following an investigation into multiple credit card thefts.

Property Crimes Investigation – On July 30th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit made two arrests of suspects connected to multiple credit card thefts from individuals living across the country.
The investigation revealed that the accused, GYAMFI, received property that was
Gyamfi
purchased from various Home Depot stores using multiple stolen or fraudulently obtained credit cards. The investigation led detectives to the Public Storage located at 14123 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) where search warrants were executed on three different storage units at the facility with an estimated total of $150,000 in high end kitchen appliances and other property being recovered.
Another search warrant was executed at the home of the accused located at 2157 Armitage Cr in Woodbridge. As a result of that search, computers and other property were recovered. During the investigation, detectives learned that the accused made contact with a second suspect,OPPONG, in order to attempt to destroy evidence. Following the investigation, both suspects were arrested.
The investigation continues.
