HAYMARKET, Va. – Does your Sunday drive take you through Haymarket?
The Virginia Department of Transportation announced a detour that will be in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Sunday, April 7, Route 15 (James Madison Highway) will be closed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. between Market Ridge Boulevard and Route 55 in Haymarket while Norfolk Southern performs work at the railroad crossing.
The work is being done during the daytime for the safety of the railroad workers.
Motorists will follow posted detours:
· Motorists wanting to go north on Route 15 will use Route 29 North to I-66 West and exit back onto Route 15.
· Motorists heading south on Route 15 will take Route 55 East to Route 29.
Police will be on the scene for traffic control.
