MANASSAS, Va. — Manassas police arrested the father of a 15-month old boy that drowned back in October.

The Manassas City Police Department arrested Joaquin Shadow Rams, 40, of 9073 Landgreen Street, at 11:40 AM Friday, January 25, 2013. He was charged with the First Degree Murder of his 15 month old son, Prince McLeod Rams, who died by drowning on October 20, 2012, while in Mr. Rams’ care in his residence at 9073 Landgreen Street.
Joaquin Shadow Rams was held at the ADC without bond pending arraignment.
Rams was the focus of an Associated Press story that appeared in early December that highlighted the death of Rams’ mother in 2008 – ruled a suicide – and the 2003 shooting death of his ex-girlfriend, who was shot and killed inside of her Manassas condo.
