ORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Windows at a PNC Bank branch at Aquia Town Center are being repaired this afternoon after someone plowed their car into them.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the bank Wednesday morning after a woman drove her car through the glass that separates the parking lot from the bank’s lobby. Two people inside the lobby were hit by the car, and both were taken to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening.
Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy early Wednesday afternoon did not have information on what caused the crash, the identity of the woman, or what kind of car she was driving.
A construction crew was at the bank at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday boarding up the wall where glass had been this morning. Much of the bank’s parking lot had been marked with caution tape.
The bank’s manager declined comment. No charges have been filed in the crash, said Kennedy.
