STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Severe storms are moving through the Potomac Communities tonight.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Stafford County, as well as neighboring Fredericksburg, and Spotsylvania County until 8:30 p.m.
A strong storm was spotted about 7:45 p.m. moving northeast into the path of Aquia Creek and North Stafford capable of producing heavy rain, quarter-sized hail, and damaging winds, according to the weather service.
The storm is said to be a dangerous one, and those in it’s path are urged to move indoors.
