Obama regaining popularity in Virginia
WTOP.com reports The president may be regaining some of the popularity that helped him win Virginia four years ago, according to a new poll.

Md., Va. students rank in the top 3 for AP scores
WTOP.com reports Maryland students are at the top of the class when it comes to advanced placement exams. In Virginia, students rank third nationally, with 25 percent achieving the same benchmark. D.C. ranks in the bottom three, with just 6 percent of graduating students getting a 3 or better. Nationwide, 18 percent of public high school graduates achieve a 3 or better on their exams.
