Peeping Tom charged
Police said their suspect used a plastic chair while peeping into houses in Lake Ridge.
Officers were called to the 2900 block of Jamestown Court, off Oakwood Drive, after someone said they saw a peeping tom peering into homes in the area, on nearby Greenhall Drive.
As police canvassed the area, they saw a man standing on a plastic chair peering into a home on Jamestown Court, according to Prince William police documents. The man saw the officer, picked up the chair, took off running and jumped over a fence, according to police.
Officers were able to catch and arrest the suspect nearby without incident.
Rene Alberto Cruz, 28, of 12708 Greenhall Dr in Woodbridge, is charged with peeping into a dwelling, according to police documents. He was held without bond.
