Stafford County, Va. — Seven people were taken to a local hospital Monday after a crash involving a school bus.
Rescue crews were called to the area of U.S. 17 and Lendall Road in Stafford County about 3 p.m. after three vehicles – including a school bus with children on board – crashed, said Stafford fire and rescue spokesman Mark Doyle.
“In all, thirty-seven patients were evaluated with seven being transported via the Medical Ambulance Bus to Mary Washington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” said Doyle in a press release.
The school bus was from a private school in Fredericksburg.
