Virginia State Police said 40 people were onboard the bus that caught fire on I-95 Monday night.
No injuries were reported, and Prince William County fire and rescue was investigating the cause of the blaze, said state police spokeswoman Deborah Cox.
Owned by Martz Trailways, the bus was traveling south on I-95’s HOV lanes near Prince William Parkway when it caught fire.

Woodbridge, Va. — Fire and rescue crews were called Monday night to a bus fire on Interstate 95.
Flames broke out on the bus about 7 p.m. while it was traveling on the southbound High Occupancy Vehicle lanes near Prince William Parkway, according to fire officials.
It’s not clear if anyone is injured in the bus fire.
