Bugs Test Positive for West Nile

WOODBRIDGE, Va. –– Some of the first mosquitoes this year test positive for West Nile Virus in the Potomac Communities have been found in Lake Ridge and Woodbridge.

Officials say an intensive treatment of the areas are now needed, and that the deadly virus can be spread to birds and humans through bites.
