Falmouth, Va. –– A Woodbridge man is charged in connection to a robbery in Falmouth.
The victim, a pizza delivery man, delivered a pizza pie to a room at a Motel 6 on Warrenton Road (U.S. 17) about 11 p.m. Saturday.
The man was given $20 in exchange for the pizza, but as he turned to leave he was confronted by a man who told him to give back the money, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
The victim did and left the scene. Later, investigators were able to get the victim’s story and placed a look out for a man fitting the description of the assailant.
Maurice Cotton, 29, of Port Potomac Avenue in Woodbridge faces a robbery charge.
Cotton is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 15.
