Theatre fans might enjoy one of several offerings this weekend, including Godspell and Peter and the Wolf.
If you’d like Cinco de Mayo to last just a little longer head out to the Culpeper Fiesta, hosted by the Hispanic Committee of Culpeper. This Friday evening event will feature free food, dancing, and family fun.
Saturday, Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge will also hold a community festival featuring live music, moon bounces and free food. Additionally on Saturday, Potomac area locals can head out to Manassas for the Wings, Wheels and Warriors at the Manassas Regional Airport to benefit local wounded veterans. This event is free, but donations are accepted, and will include an air and car show, as well as airplane rides for a fee.
Don’t forget that Sunday is Mother’s Day! Celebrate in style with a Chinese Tea and Brush Demonstration at the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center, or an 1860’s-era tea at Leesylvania State Park.
