Teen gets 28 years in Mt. Vernon area murder
A 16-year-old arrested last year in Woodbridge was sentenced to 28 –years in the beating death of another teenager. Prosecutors said Mario Reyes, who is now 17, took a baseball bat to Woodlawn Park in Mount Vernon and used it to beat the 16-year-old victim – another gang member – to death, The Washington Post reports.
Planning Commission votes no growth for Brooke
