Stafford County, Va. — It’s time to put on those running and walking shoes to help children with disabilities.
The Holliann Grace Center for Children with Disabilities in will hold its first annual Deputy Dash 5K Run / Run and One-Mile Run.
The event will be held at 8:30 a.m. March 20, at Cannon Ridge Golf Club in southern Stafford County. The 5K run starts at 8:30 a.m. and the one-mile fun run starts at 9:30 a.m.
All proceeds from the event go to charity, and those who want to register for the 5K or mile may do so on online or pick up registration packets at Helping Hands Inc., and 417 Chatham Square Office Park in Falmouth until March 6.
Packets will also be made available from 7 to 8 a.m. the morning of the race.
Pre-registration for the 5K run is $25 until March 6 and $35 the day of the event. Pre-registration for the one-mile run is $15 until March 6 and $20 the day of the event.
