The City of Manassas, along with Prince William County, were the recipients of the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission’s Leadership Award for the area’s efforts in commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War during the past seven years.
The City of Manassas partnered with Prince William County, the Prince William County Historic Preservation Division and many area museums, parks, and historic sites to coordinate dozens of local events that brought history to life for thousands of residents and visitors from across the country. A woman is charged with assault and battery on a police officer. Prince William police were called to a home on Redskin Court in Woodbridge on Tuesday, June 9, and said they saw the suspect, 37-year-old Michelle Bullock get into a car and then try to speed away from police.
