Fredericksburg

Parmelee will help participants identify what’s holding them back, make confident keep-or-let-go decisions, and build a plan for a clutter-free home. The Decluttering Workshop will take place Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Dorothy Hart Community Center. Open to ages 14 and up, registration costs $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents.

The daylong event will be held Saturday, November 8, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Germanna Community College’s Fredericksburg Area Campus, Workforce and Technology Center. Sessions will include “Books and Beasties,” “Why Your Second Draft Should Be the First Time You Start to Self-Edit,” and “The Intersection of Fiction and Nonfiction—How to Blend Genres and Keep Readers Hooked.”


Manassas

“The Fall Gallery Walk takes place this Saturday, November 8, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. here in Old Town Manassas,” Historic Manassas, Inc. announced. “This event, held by the Manassas Art Guild, pairs local artists and their works with businesses throughout town.”

Visitors are invited to stroll through Old Town using a gallery map—or simply follow the balloons—to discover a variety of art styles created by Manassas-area artists. The event offers a chance to meet artists, explore local shops, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity in the heart of the city.
