This year’s Grand Marshals are Air Force veterans Ernest Merle Hancock and Steve Krawczyk.
DALE CITY — Candidates vying for seats in the Virginia General Assembly will take questions in front of an audience in Dale City next week.
Currently, the candidates from House Districts (HD) 31 and 51 have accepted. From the 31st HD incumbent L. Scott Lingamfelter (R), Elizabeth R. Guzman (D) and Nathan D. Larson (I) have agreed to respond to questions. Hala S. Ayala (D) and Richard L. Anderson (R), the incumbent in the 51st HD will also participate.
From Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department:
Woodbridge, VA September 12, 2017 —In September 1938, the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department was officially incorporated. It was two years of hard work for a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need for a Fire Department in the area. Many of them put up personal property and their own money to secure loans to build a building to house the apparatus and start the department. Sometimes they had to “pass the hat” to pay electric and other bills monthly.

Strangulation | Domestic Related *ARREST – On September 26, Jameur Ryan SMITH turned himself into police without incident at the Western District Station in Manassas. The accused was wanted for a domestic which occurred at a residence located in the 8800 block of Middleburg Ct in Manassas on August 23.
