A Maryland man faces charges after shots were fired during a child custody exchange Sunday evening, January 8, 2023.

At 8:35 p.m. that night, Stafford County sheriff's deputies responded to a home at Windsor Circle and Federal Drive in Argyle Heights for a call about a disturbance with a weapon.

It's difficult to say when International Bible Baptist Church can build its new home in Manassas.

On Monday, January 9, 2023, the city council voted to continue a public hearing on whether or not to rezone a quarter of an acre on which the church would sit, just off Route 28, next to the East End Mobile Home Park. While the entire church would sit on one acre when built, about a quarter of the property is zoned for the mobile home park, prompting the rezoning request filed during the pandemic.
