According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the ramp from northbound I-95 to eastbound Dale Boulevard (Exit 156A) will be closed Wednesday night, June 10 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning for asphalt patching.

Work may be delayed due to in-climate weather. We’re expecting some severe weather tonight.

A business owner got a life-changing prize after winning $800,000 at a BP gas station in Dale City.

Gary Pierpoint won the top prize in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game, not once, but eight times in the same drawing. He matched all five winning numbers in the April 13 night drawing on eight tickets, according to a press release from Virginia Lottery News.


A Jeep traveling on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge overturned at Malta Street.

Fire and rescue crews were called to the scene, across from BJ’s Wholesale Club, about 2 p.m.

Police have stepped up speeding enforcement on Cardinal Drive in Woodbridge after a woman was struck and killed while walking her dog.

The victim, Deborah Lynn Talbot, 50, was struck on Friday, May 1 while walking near Swan Avenue. Days earlier, she sent a message to the Prince William police department noting the problem of speeding on Cardinal Drive, and when police were going to step-up enforcement, WRC-TV reports.


A popular neighborhood fitness and swimming center will now be used to house the homeless who have been affeetd by the coronavirus.

The Sharon Baucom Dale City Rec Center (DCRC), located at 14300 Minnieville Road in Dale City, will be used as a shelter for adults who are homeless during Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s shutdown issued in late March in response to the spread of the coronavirus.

A pedestrian is dead and a driver was treated and released from a local hospital following a crash in Woodbridge.

On Friday, May 1, at 2:24 p.m., Prince William police were called to the area of Cardinal Drive and Swan Way in Woodbridge to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian accordingly.
