Good morning Prince William – Mark your calendars for the next free concert at Battlefield Garden Center on Friday August 19th, 6-10pm. This is a fun family friendly event with moon bounce and activities for the kids, live music by the No Pressure Band and local crafters. Food drinks available for sale that all benefit the Un Trim A Tree Holiday Gift Program for needy kid’s right here in our community. · Saved Hands Foundation needs school supplies for their 3rd Annual Back to School program for needy kids. Please pick up a few extra notebooks, book bags, paper tablets, crayons, pens/pencils, ruler or school paper while you’re out and about and drop them off at the Prince William Free Clinic, 13900 Church Hill Drive Woodbridge on Saturday, August 27th from 9am-12 noon. Importance of Manufacturing To Local Economy

Watching both party’s conventions on television this week as both a City Councilman and concerned Republican, I couldn’t help but reflect on just how lucky we are to live in such a great country. I’m so very proud to play a small role in our representative democracy as a member of the Manassas City Council. We have such a great city.

· Good morning Prince William – Catholic Charities- Hogar Immigrant Services is urgently seeking teachers for the English classes in Manassas, Woodbridge and Dale City. These classes are held Monday-Thursday but volunteers are only asked to teach once a week. Training is provided and you do not need to know any other language. · Don’t forget Tuesday August 2nd is National Night Out in Manassas Park from 5-8pm at Signal Hill Park. Volunteer Prince William will be there to share all kinds of volunteer opportunities for you and your family.
