Lily’s journey has been one of resilience and healing. Found as a stray, she arrived at Spotsylvania Animal Shelter in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in dire condition, with severe hair loss and skin irritations. After weeks of special veterinary care, Lily is now on the mend—her coat is growing back and making progress each day.

At six years old and weighing 45-50 pounds, Lily is a quiet, gentle dog who spends most of her time resting in her kennel. She’s deaf, requiring slow introductions and a calm, patient environment to feel comfortable. Due to her hearing impairment and past trauma, the shelter recommends a home where Lily can be the only pet and without young children, allowing her to enjoy a peaceful and stress-free life.
