PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY – (Press Release) On March 23 at 5:40 p.m., officers responded to the Macy’s within Manassas Mall located at 8270 Sudley Rd. in Manassas to investigate an armed robbery.

A store employee reported to police that three juvenile males entered the store and selected merchandise from the racks. Two of the males entered the dressing room area with the merchandise and, when they exited the dressing room, the merchandise had been concealed. The three males then attempted to exit the store where another employee encountered them. One suspect made verbal threats while brandishing a knife at the employee. The three suspects fled the scene on foot.

FREDERICKSBURG — Reclaim Video offers an experience that promises to take its customers back to the past — for free.

Last May, the neighborhood movie rental store opened its doors. One of the last of its kind, the video store’s walls are covered with VHS tapes, Laserdisc movies, and other popular formats from that past.

STAFFORD – (Press Release) The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public on a bicycle accident that occurred on March 28 in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Tracey Street.

On Thursday, March 28, 2019, at approximately 2:00 p.m., units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office and Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department responded to reports of a pedestrian struck. Upon arrival, they learned a bicycle had been struck by a truck while traveling southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway in the area of the Hidden Valley 7-Eleven. The truck remained on scene and the 57-year-old male driver was identified.

STAFFORD – (Press release) River Road will be closed several days next week to accommodate work on Phase IV of the Belmont-Ferry Farm Trail.

Crews will be installing a pipe under the road to improve drainage of runoff near the entrance to Pratt Park.  Visitors will still be able to access Pratt Park via River Road from Route 1. River Road will be closed to traffic on Tuesday – Thursday, April 2– 4, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
