WOODBRIDGE — Prince William County’s new animal shelter is designed and ready for construction.
The building is expected to cost $15.1 million, and its sit next to the building it will replace — an aging animal shelter built in 1975, located on Bristow Road next to the county landfill.

OCCOQUAN — (From an email) On Wednesday, April 3, at 7:30 p.m., the Occoquan Town Hall will be the site of the Occoquan launch of town resident Henry G. Brinton’s novel, “City of Peace.”
Brinton is an author and Presbyterian pastor who has written on religion and culture for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and USA Today.
RICHMOND — Drivers would see improvements to interstate highways across Virginia if the General Assembly approves $280 million in budget amendments recommended by Gov. Ralph Northam, but state residents and truckers would pay additional taxes and fees.
