WOODBRIDGE — A developer of a new app wants her customers to know that towing a car is not the only option.

The app, “Oopseez” allows users to send the owner of an unwanted parked car an anonymous text or email asking the driver to move the vehicle. The aim is to help cut down on the time it takes to resolve the issue, and to save the driver from getting a fine or hefty towing fee.

Board of County Supervisors Chairman At-large Corey Stewart, a Republican who recently ran a failed U.S. Senate campaign against Democrat Tim Kaine, proposes raising the current tax rate on data centers from $1.25 to $2, netting an additional $9.6 million annually.
