A 20-year-old man has died after he was struck while sitting in a car on Interstate 66 in Gainesville.

Prince William police were called to the scene at 4:10 p.m. on Friday, April 24. A 2016 Toyota Corolla was disabled on the exit ramp from eastbound I-66 to southbound Lee Highway (Route 29).

If your business is still open to the public, the Fredericksburg City government has just posted a list of the six things business owners in its city should be doing in the wake of the coronavirus spread.

The list comes amid Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s mandatory stay-at-home order for state residents, which restricts residents from leaving the state, and only making trips to essential business like grocery, hardware, automotive stores, and restaurants.

A publically-traded furniture company in Bassett, about 250 miles away from Fredericksburg, tells Potomac Local News its employees are going back to work following a closure due to the coronavirus.

Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc.  announced today that it will resume production at its manufacturing locations next week following the temporary closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The company is resuming production at a limited capacity to work through its existing backlog and to be in a position to service expected demand as the economy begins to reopen for business.
