It is saddening to announce the death of our beloved Khamphene Chinyavong who passed away peacefully on June 28, 2020 at the nursing home. She was 90 years old. She was well loved and respected by families, friends and her community. Her presence will be deeply missed by us all.
On June 22, 2020, the Prince William Humane Society (PWHS) announced the launching the Adopt Shop Co-Op.
The Adopt Shop Co-Op is an affiliate program that supports local animal welfare organizations and is managed by Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P). It will help the PWHS increase pet adoption rates, expand outreach efforts to existing and potential pet owners, and improve the well-being of the region’s pets.

During its June 29 meeting, the Prince William County School Board voted to rename Stonewall Jackson Senior High School to Unity Reed High School and Stonewall Jackson Middle School to Unity Braxton Middle School. These names were chosen out of over 775 submissions from community residents.
The Fredericksburg Nationals are proud to announce that they reached their goal of over 1,001 “We Are FXBG” t-shirts sold as of Monday, June 29.
The team announced that they would be launching the “We Are FXBG” t-shirts back in May with the promise to donate two tickets to local frontline healthcare workers with the purchase of each t-shirt.
