Justice has been served in the gang-related death of Miguel Angel Ruiz Carrillo, 18, of  Alexandria, who was found dead in Nokesville in 2017.

The victim’s body was discovered in Nokesville Road and Fauquier Drive in Nokesville on August 22, 2017, after he was initially reported missing to Fairfax County Police earlier that month.

A majority of Virginia drivers may now renew their driver’s license for up to two years without having to enter a DMV location to have a photo taken.

The DMV in Richmond says the new system allows drivers to new on its website and was brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

A discussion was held at Tuesday’s meeting Board of Supervisors on how to try and stem the tide of rising suicide rates in the county. As the pandemic continues there has been an uptick in the number of suicides due to depression caused by the effects of the pandemic.
