Manassas Park sees a new library, and now a new parking garage for the city’s envisioned downtown development.
A new garage would provide at least 500 more parking spaces needed at the Manassas Park VRE station. The new spaces would be in addition to the 600 spaces already in use at the station on weekdays.
While there are only a handful of homes in Stafford County that are listed for rent on the popular property-sharing website AirBNB, there are lots of individual rooms for rent.
On Airbnb, customers can use a website to reserve a property in the same manner as a hotel. Customers are, however, snagging a room at someone’s home rather than an established hotel.

Stafford County Administrator Tom Foley will retire on July 1 after a 30-year career serving jurisdictions in Virginia.
The county will search for a replacement for Foley. His departure comes as the county continues to grow in population and increasingly finds itself increasingly becoming apart of the Northern Virginia region.
