MANASSAS — (Press Release) The City of Manassas is pleased to announce that Scott Horan will be the new Public Works Director effective July 22, 2019.  Scott comes to the City with more than 15 years of service to Stafford County Public Schools and more than 20 years of service as an Air Force Engineering Officer.

As Public Works Director for the City of Manassas, Horan will oversee all Public Works functions which include Buildings & Grounds Maintenance, Cemeteries, Streets, Traffic Controls, Solid Waste and Vehicle Maintenance.

STAFFORD — Stanley Martin Homes introduced The Durham, the newest single-family home offered at Embrey Mill, an 819-acre master-planned community located off Interstate 95 in North Stafford.

MANASSAS — (Press Release) The Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory will present A Carnival of the Absurd, featuring original new works by John Hartt.

A Carnival of the Absurd features new paintings that blend themes of the carnival sideshow, Sunday morning cartoons, conspiracy theory and just plain weirdness in a way that only John can present them. Hartt’s oddball style can be described as a mix of lowbrow art, pop surrealism, and cartoonism.
