The man who represents Virginia’s sprawling 1st District, from Stafford to Williamsburg, took an early lead in the polls Tuesday night.


Woodbridge, Va. –– TBD.com reports another shooting took place at a U.S. Military building, this time at a Coast Guard recruiting center near Potomac Mills mall in Woodbridge.


Police on Sunday were called to the 3200 block of Birchdale Square after a man told police he had just been carjacked.

The 21-year-old victim was in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 14300 block of Potomac Mills Road at 1:50 a.m. Sunday when a man and woman walked up to him and asked him to give them a ride to the nearby Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission’s bus terminal, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
